During the lockdown, Directors Alex and Sarah sold and purchased a new family home, while buying a new property wasn’t a priority, they fell in love with a beautiful country farmhouse nestled in the heart of Ashdown Forest, East Sussex.
The house itself used to be a 12-bedroom farmhouse set in 1.2 acres of land with far-reaching views across the forest. In 1950 is was converted into two separate dwellings with the main entrance being retained on the side of New Lodge East.
The former owners had resided there for 46 years, and it is clear that it was a well-loved home that has now sadly fallen into disrepair in recent years. The AMLY team has big dreams and ambitions to breathe new life into the space and to make their mark on this historic building.
